Vice President, Fundraising

Joined DMW in 2005
After six years on the client side of the fence, it was with great trepidation and anticipation that I joined DMW in January 2005 as a Vice President, Fundraising for the Non-Profit Division of DMW.
This job has been all they promised it would be - and then some. I am given all of the tools I need to excel in my position - from thorough and excellent on the job training to an open-door upper management style. Over the past three years I have been given the opportunity to travel from one side of the country to the other- attending conferences and workshops, meeting extraordinary people, and creating and presenting annual marketing plans to clients.
I never know what the day will have in store for me when I arrive to the office each morning - but I do know that I will be surrounded by colleagues whom I respect and admire, doing a job that I believe in. Who could ask for more?

Joined DMW in 1993
I started working at DMW in September 1993 as a part-time accounting clerk. At that time, the company was growing very quickly. I was encouraged to complete my BA in Accounting which I readily agreed to.
As the company grew, so did I with my education and on-the-job training. I was given the opportunity to advance into different levels of my field. I received recognition and promotion as my skills grew. I had the full support of my DMW colleagues. After completing my BA in Accounting in December 1999, I was promoted to Accounting Manager in August 2000.
Without the support of my immediate staff and peers, I would not be in the position that I hold now as Controller.
