DMW DIRECT'S WARREN HUNTER RECEIVES DMA INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL SERVICES COUNCIL’S “DIRECT MARKETER OF THE YEAR” AWARD
PHILADELPHIA, October, 11, 2011 - DMW Direct, a leading direct response advertising agency and 50+ marketing specialist, announced today that company Chairman Warren Hunter has won the Insurance Direct Marketer of the Year Award from the Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA) Insurance and Financial Services Council. The award was presented on October 3, 2011, at the DMA Councils Awards Luncheon during DMA 2011 in Boston, MA.
The organization bestowed the Direct Marketer of the Year Award on Hunter for his outstanding contributions to the insurance industry through the exemplary use of the direct marketing concept.

For nearly 35 years, Warren Hunter has helped marketers reap the fruits of their marketing investment – first as a marketing director and officer at various insurance companies – and, since 1988, working with clients at DMW Direct. He has been instrumental in the launch or expansion of direct marketing efforts for clients as diverse as Exelon Energy, Discover Card, World Book Encyclopedia, Fireman’s Fund Direct, Response Insurance and over 20 BlueCross BlueShield Plans. Hunter provides expertise in the areas of multimedia advertising, database marketing methods and multichannel distribution.
Hunter has served nine years on the DMA ECHO Board of Governors, has served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA) and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF). He is a frequent speaker at insurance and direct marketing events.
