Leading direct response advertising agency and insurance clients claim 15 prestigious awards for marketing and creative excellence

WAYNE, Pa. – July 01, 2010 – Warren Hunter, Chairman and CEO of DMW Direct (http://www.dmwdirect.com), announced that the agency and its industry leading insurance clients recently received 15 honors from the Hermes Creative, Telly, and Communicator awards organizations.

Among the multiple recognitions, DMW Direct (for self-promotional effort) and two clients, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and Independence Blue Cross won three Hermes Creative Awardstwo Platinum and one Gold in the categories of “publications/ book,” “publications/ brochure,” and “advertising/radio spot.” Hermes Creative Awards, administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals, is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies.

DMW Direct (for self-promotional effort) and clients BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Independence Blue Cross, The Hartford, and Tufts Health Plan, won nine awards, including three Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Distinction from the Communicator Awards, sponsored by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals and one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.

Of the more than 13,000 entries submitted from all 50 states and 5 continents to the 2010 Telly Awards, DMW Direct and clients Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, were recognized with one Silver and two Bronze awards. The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web.
