Three DMW Worldwide Clients Honored with Prestigious 2007 PBS Development Awards


Direct response agency is proud of working relationship with clients, all named Development Award winners in "Overall Development" category.

Plymouth, Mass. - September 25, 2007 - DMW Worldwide announced today that three of its non-profit clients have swept the Overall Development category of the 2007 PBS Development Awards. The winners - Iowa Public Television, Kentucky Educational Television, and KLRU/Austin, Texas - will be honored publicly on October 3 during the Development Conference in Palm Desert, Calif

The PBS Development Awards are the most prestigious in the public television industry. They provide the public television community a valuable opportunity to recognize excellence and innovative fundraising efforts that are both replicable and sustainable, while keeping true to the public broadcasting mission.

The Development Advisory Committee (DAC), a dynamic group of station professionals representing a variety of disciplines, markets, and licensees, judges the awards. All award winners in a particular category are eligible to be chosen to receive an Award for Excellence, a "best of category" for achievement that rises above all others.

"More than 300 stations nationally are charged with raising the bulk of their own operating revenue through a variety of fundraising and development activities," explained Tom Hurley, President of DMW's Non-Profit Division.
