Wayne, PA - December 4, 2006 - DMW Worldwide LLC and three clients - The Hartford, Wells Fargo Bank, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Midwest) - were honored with the coveted 2006 Aurora Awards.
The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries.
The Test Drive direct response television commercial developed by DMW for The Hartford won a Gold Award. Test Drive features a couple who achieves ownership of their dream car and learns, through a friend at the dealership, how they can save money on their auto insurance by switching to AARP's coverage. The spot blends high production value - important to both AARP and The Hartford brands - with a strong direct response message, including slice-of-life vignettes, an on-camera spokesman, and a strong call to action. This commercial also won a 2006 Mature Media award.
Voice of the Customer, a DMW-created direct response television commercial, won a Gold Award for Wells Fargo Bank. The commercial was part of an ambitious brand-direct program to test-market small business loans on broadcast television. The spot blends strong brand imagery - intriguing vignettes and small business people in their workplaces - with strong offer elements and multiple calls to action to generate response. Voice of the Customer has also been recognized with 2006 Communicator and Videographer awards.
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Midwest) won a Gold Award for Pinball, a direct response television commercial created by DMW. With new players entering the individual health insurance market in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, Anthem wanted an attention-getting spot that would both showcase program advantages and differentiate Anthem from the competition. Positioning Anthem as "still the best game in town," this animated spot uses a pinball game board and live ball to demonstrate all the bells and whistles associated with Anthem's individual products.
